  • Overspray Dilemma

Had an old chevy stepside painted last year and took it back to have repair on driver door and the floor board repaired and painted. Overspray seems to be in numerous areas around doors.

I purchased a the g1016 clay kit at autozone. I picked two small areas and tried it. I did not see any change -please help.

I do not want to take it back and have some bonehead start wet sanding again.

Sounds like you might need a more aggressive clay. Try the C2000 Blue and see if that works. There is also the C2100 Red but that is really aggressive and might leaving marring on your paint. If the blue doesn't work then you will probably be forced to using red.

    Edit: Welcome to MOL!
