  • Need help with wiper body

Just want to ask how do you detail the wiper 'body'? Don't know what it's really called but I think you get the idea. Just the normal ones, metal with some sort of matt black paint/coating. Cleaning them would be easy but how do you restore it to the 'like-new' look?

Anybody can give me an idea.

    Thanks.

I knew somebody would say that. I should have said other than re-paint. Dressing maybe? But with what?

I put dressing on mine. They look new after that.

THey should take a wax or dressing well, but really restoring them would be a problem. Better off with new ones at that point.

Ive been thinking about painting mine. After almost 4.5 years they are starting to show alittle wear. I think mine are satin though, not flat. They have a decent amount of gloss to them so I usually wax them.

I like using All season dressing on ours. Of course they are flat not the satin finish.

Repainting would be an acceptable option if they were my own. I was thinking more for doing other people's car.

How long can the ASD hold out? 1 or 2 washes? Has it any side-effects on the wiper?
