#21 turned watery ???

    #21 turned watery ???

    I just noticed that my 64oz Synthetic Sealant (V1.0) that I bought 1-2 years ago has turned watery. It was OK when I used it last summer. I stored all my Meguiars products in my basement with ambient temp around 20C. The other products, NXT, Cleaner Wax, were OK.

    Why did my #21 turn watery? Is there an "expiry" date for these liquid waxes?

    Is my #21 still good? I just applied it to my summer wheels. Due to its watery texture, I will keep the dry time longer.

    Shake it very well before and during use, and it should be fine. Had this happen to me and I shook the bottle for about 30 seconds and it returned to normal. #21= Good stuff.

    P.S. 21 is a very liquidy wax.

      I had the same problem with mt original bottle of #21, went to clean out the closet where I store my stuff and it doesn't seem to turn back to a 'wax' consistency (even when shaking). Not sure, I have not used it in sometime as I have way to many other products to choose from, not sure if the time has something to do with it.

        I also had this problem with my first bottle of 21v1.0. It seemed to be okay after a vigorous shaking. I used up that bottle. Could not tell any problems with it.

          A lot of products can separate over time. All you have to do is shake it well before each use.

              Yeah same problem - but a good shake-shake got it back to normal.
