I have been told by a friend of mines whose into cars that I should wax my car twice. He said wax it the first time, let it dry and buffet out and than wax it one more time and that it will give me more protection and a better shine. Now I dont know if I should try it or not mostly because Im new to waxing and I dont want to hurt the clear coat or the paint job. Any feed back on this question would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Re: Question about waxing??
Meguiar's recommends applying two coats of wax in any single detailing session.
Two thin coats of wax insures,
- Uniform Appearance
- Uniform Coverage which means uniform protection
As long as you're working on a clear car with clean applicators and clean wiping cloths you shouldn't instill any scratches or swirls.
