    The car will be in pristine condition and I rather polish and wax it by hand than to wait since the weather here in England is horrible and I want to protect the finish as soon as the car arrive from the factory. I'll finish my
    van when I receive the new G110.

      All the posts above pretty much covered the paint end of it. I found that what really helps me make my silver truck pop is to work the contrast between the black trim and the paint. Like making sure the grille, wheel wells, tires, window trim, & mirrors are polished or dressed. IMO it makes a huge difference.

        I agree with jjbleds. With silver, especially if it isn't metallic, you will never get the paint to that WOW stage without giving a little extra to the extras.

        Pay more attention to the chrome and glass, espeicially the headlamps. Make them glisten like jewels. They look better on a silver car. I like my tires to have a good clean black look but not shiny. My wife's blue car looks good with shiny tires but not my silver car.
