  • Narrow painter's tape

Where do you find painter's tape that's narrower than 3/4"? I noticed on the "How-To use the PC for showcar results" DVD that Mike uses some tape that looks to be 1/4" wide or so. I could use some of that to tape off the seal between my Miata hardtop and the top of the windshield area.
By the way great DVD. Full of good info for someone fixing to use a PC for the first time on a 15 year old black car. All I need is warm weather, the time, and narrow tape.
    Thanks,
    Larry

My area Wal-Mart carries 1/4" - 2" tape. It is not the blue tape, but is green in color. I find it works the same. I use a variation of three different sizes- 1/4", 3/4", and 2".

I wish my walmart had it. But yeah, auto paint supply shop.

That DVD is very informative. I answers much of the questions I see posted here. And the ones that aren't are answered by the kind folks here.

Same here for my Wal-Mart. In my store they keep the painters tape by the household paint and hardware. Its "Duck" brand. Its also alot less money then the 3-m. I have had no residue issues with this brand.

Thanks to all. Found some at a local PBE. The locally Wally World, Home Depot, and Lowes had nothing narrower that 3/4". Now all I need is for the good weather on my day off.
                  Thanks,
