  • interior dash cleaners

hey gang looking for a product that is used to clean the surfaces of your interior before you apply a protectent, i remember that armor all had such a product that you used to clean the surface then apply their protective gloss to make your interior shine, even that i cant find anymore, does meguiar have anything like this, i want to clean the cracks and surfaces and not just wipe over them to make my dash "shinny", thxs for your time and effort

Quick Interior Detailer is a light duster.

For heavier cleaning, you would want to look at #39 Rubber and Vinyl Cleaner, or I would tend to go with All Purpose Cleaner or All Purpose Cleaner+.

M3916 in our Professional Line is a dedicated vinyl and rubber cleaner.

      #39 Heavy Duty Vinyl Cleaner

Now, QID is both a "light duster" and a protectant? The reason I ask is I have both QID and GC vinyl & rubber protectant. Do I even need the GC after I clean w/ QID?

QID has always been a light duster, like the exterior QD. Now, the new QID has some UV protective stuff added in. But it will not add any richness like a regular dressing, and a regular dressing will still leave more protection behind.

Love the 'just cleaned' smell that QID adds. Wish I didnt have a bunch of old bottles since the new stuff supposedly has much 'sniff sniff.'

With that, I use APC+ cut 10:1 to clean the dash and interior 'if' it needs it.

I use to love M40 and now I love QID, theres really no need for M40 unless you cleaning as stated above or you need a really strong protectant, somewhere where its hot possibly, but alot of people like the shine M40 leaves. As a new car owner, I find that QID does the work I need it to, just removing dust keeping the car new.
