  • ok Need to know what to do with this

ok this is my roommates car that has a little story behind it. majority of the mark are from her son at age 9 washing the car with his rollerblades while standing on the hood. now i know i will not be able to get all the scratches out of this thing. but want to get as many as i can

    ^
ok this is just working on the hood by hand to see what would come out. but major swirls everywhere. this one is just washing the whole car and nothing else

    ^
this one is after Paint cleaner and also claying it. looks ok but surfaces feels bumpy. but might be due to the Rock and bug damage. as i went over it 3 times with the clay. yeah wasted a full bar of clay on one hood. well dropped it at the end as well.

this is with two coats of polish and two coats of wax and the bright orange thing poked its head out from behind the clouds. so the angle i was taking pictures out didn't turn out after taking it like 8 times. so took it from a different angle.

hood still has a ton of swirls and pits. the pits and deep scratches i know i beyond repair. but what pro line stuff do i need to try and get this stuff out?? i have a G110. but waiting on pads as i used the ones i bought for my XB the other day. the local PBE shop close to me has a girl behind the counter with a serious attitude problem. so i will be ordering online as of now. till i find a new local shop for the need right now stuff.

So what do you all suggest i do. no this is not paid job. as i owe her for a birthday gift but treating it like a paid job.

For the hood, try M80 first with a W-8006 polishing pad on the 5.0 speed setting working a small section at at time, about 16" square or so.

If M80 doesn't work on your Test Spot, then try M83 same type of pad and same speed setting.

Your work looks good. But I would of really liked to see apic of her son standing on the hood wearing his rollerblades. lol

well right now he is leanr what not to do and why. this was 5 years ago that he did this. so little by little i am teaching him not to write wash me on the backs of cars with what effects it has on cars. my toyota pick up have very bad clear and paint on it. areas are comming up and such. so it was dirty and i wrote wash me on the tailgate when washed it to show him the scratches. then had him by hand use scratch x till they were gone. yeah he even now stop the nieghborhood kids from doing it. he also asks question on why i wash the cars do much and all. pretty much told him you car is an investment. if you spend 10,000 or 250,000 on a car you want it to look nice for a long time. i think he is getting the hang of it.

well found another pbe place but someone hit it up for all the meg's proline stuff. so i have to wait for my ADS stuff to come in or wait untill monday.
