  • How do you dress metal undercarriage areas?

How do you detail and dress visible metal undercarriage parts (such as coil springs and metal surfaces in wheel well areas)? I see people mentioning using ASD, but I'm unclear if that's only on plastics, or metal surfaces, too? Thanks.

Try adamspolish dot com. They have an undercarriage detail spray.

I use Hyper-Dressing on the surfaces your talking about, after they're cleaned good of course.

I buy stoners Tire shine. Works great for spraying anything on the underbody. Ive got some pics around here somewhere.

I agree. After you get them clean, a low hyper dressing to water ratio works great for undercarriage and suspension area.

I just use any dressing/tire shine/tire foam that I am using for anything else.

Adam's Undercarriage spray from what I've seen is the equivalent of All Season Dressing.

I use Meguiars Quick Interior Detailer spray. I just spray it on a terri cloth towel and then wipe down the surfaces in my fenderwells and suspsension. It has worked well for me and is easy to get.

Ahh, I was thinking about the actual underbody.

I use ASD in the fender wells.
