Even Coat Applicators

Was even coat applicator pad changed recently?

I remember it was rectangular and now it's round (see link). Does anyone know why it was changed?

I wasn't sure if the rectangular ones I had where Meguair's or not. I like those better than the round ones, seems to fit my hand better.

My even coat applicators split right up the sides after using them a couple times. They were the rectangle ones, not the round ones in the above pic.

I found the round yellow applicators on sale at walmart for $1 for the pack of two. I think I bought 6 packs of those so Im good to go for awhile!

I have a couple of them and they are great, very smooth and nice quality.
It fits perfectly in your hand.

Our Even Coat Microfiber Applicator Pads were rectangular and had a problem with the stitching coming undone. The new ones are round and we've been told the stitching problem has been addressed.

We personally have not used these new style applicator pads so we don't know how well they hold up to washing yet.

I still have 2 of the rectangular applicators & one of them did have the stitching com undone. I haven't tried the round even coat applicators yet. I've just stuck with the yellow applicators which have worked great so far.
