  • NXT spray wax over Carnauba?

I have the following question. Does the NXT Generation® Spray Wax stick on a M16 or a GoldClass wax? This because the NXT spraywax is al synthetic. So, do the polymers bond to a wax containing for instance carnauba, or do the only bond to synthetic waxes?

    Regards,

    Evert.

From my experience there are no issues just go ahead and spray on! But remember a spay wax wont give you the same protection as conventional waxes, its just to boost the shine and protection of your existing wax.

All Meguiar's automotive paint care products can be used with other products inside our line with no compatibility issues, that's something our chemist insure, it's called synergistic compatibility.

Our products will usually work with any other company's products also but we don't make any claims to that effect.

I use NXT Spray very often. I use it over #26, NXT 2.0, even one time over ColorX wax. My normal usage is as a booster when it has been at least a week since I last waxed after I have done a wash.

I admit to having too much time to do my own cars, but have always had great results using it as a routine maintanance product on a good finish. I wash my small Saturn as many as 3 times a week weather permitting, and use Spray Wax as a LSP instead of a quick detailer.

And that's actually the correct usage of this products.

Have you tried Ultimate Quik Detailer in it's place yet?

Normally I use 2 layers of M21, followed by one layer of M16 and topped with UQD.

I have replaced the Spray wax with the UQD. It still amazes me. What a fantastic product.

Thanks very much for the answers.

UQD is a daily morning ritual for me! Love the stuff! I carry a small spray container in each vehicle for bird bombs and such. (even spray my friend's Harley Davidsons with it in the parking lot so that they don't dry wipe the dust off.)

Last weekend after washing the Black Nox, it looked like rain, so I just used the UQD, instead of Spray Wax.

i think NXT spray wax is a waste of time, good product.i think it is just as fast and easy to just wax the car,and not messy like spray wax.
