  • Brand new SMART fortwo - tips ?

    Hi all,

My friend's getting a brand new SMART fortwo. White (his choice)
What should I look out for in terms of keeping the car in check?

Are the panels plastic? If so, should the approach be different?

What I'm planning on doing when he gets the car:
    - Clay (depends)
    - Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner applied w/ DA
    - NXT w/ DA
    - Natural Shine Vinyl and Rubber Protectant for the Interior

    Did i miss anything?
any tips on doing a brand new car is appreicated!

    thanks !!

I know you are already using NXT as your LSP but if it were me I would polish after DC 1, maybe DC 2, Hand Polish or Show Car Glaze.

That'll take about 2 hours to fully detail!

Polish for color richness I guess?
Because I assumed DC1 would take care of the new car defects.

          thanks for all the inputs!

Yup, you got it Polish adds richness or depth of color to the paint specially on dark colored cars.
