  • Colour X - Do I need a LSP?

Hey guys just going to get some colour x to try and remove some oxidation on my roof. Do I need to top this with a LSP? I have a choice of DC3, GC or NXT. Pretty keen on using NXT.

    Any help will be great.

    Thanks

    Sam

Dont have to, but since Meguiars recomands two coats of wax, ColorX followed by Nxt would be fine.

ColorX is what you would call a cleaner wax, meaning it cleans the paint (removing oxidation), polishes (by adding luster), and protects (it's a wax). It is a fantastic wax by itself. If you wanted to use NXT, I would recommend just doing ScratchX than NXT as I have found ScratchX and ColorX both have about the same cleaning ability.

Cheers guys. Am I going to notice a big difference applying NXT over Colour X?

If there will be a difference it wont be that big IMHO, but you can never say till you try, keep us updated on your progress.
