    How to treat rust?

    I offered to give my friends car a quick pick me up after asking "when was the last time you waxed your car?" "lets see, when did i buy the car?" lol...that was like 3-4 years ago...

    Anyways, it has been brought to my attention that the back end has some small rust spots on it. How do i attack this? What DONT i do?

    Are they small spots on the surface of the paint?

      Ya i didnt take a thorough look at them but it looked like small specs on the surface of the paint.
