I have just got into detailing my car. I so far have microfiber clothes, Meguiars Ultimate quik detailer, Meguiars cleaning wax, and Meguiars tire shining sparay. Since i'm just starting i would need suggestions and recommendations on consumer products. Thanks

Re: What products should i get?
Depends on what youre wanting to get done.
Does your paint have any swirls in it? Do you want to remove them?
-A Clay kit is a must have for any detailer.
-Glass cleaner?
-Dressing for the dash/interior
-Megs APC plus is a great all purpose cleaner.Current Jeep: 2004 Jeep Liberty with stuff

Re: What products should i get?
Dont worry about sticking with a particular line of products. Just get the products for your situation.
So that leads to the questions asked above.... What are you working on? What is the condition? Interior also? Hand or machine? How much time do you want to put in? Looking for show car quality? etc...2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Re: What products should i get?
If it's by hand, the Deep Crystal series is really good. It consists of Deep Crystal Paint Cleaner, Deep Crystal Polish, and you can either use the carnauba wax or NXT wax but it's really up to you. If you want to remove scratches, try using ScratchX.

Re: What products should i get?
Scratch-X is considered a paint cleaner. It will remove most swirls and scratches with X many of applications. I say "X" many of applications because every paint system is different and so is the severity of the swirls on that paint. It normally takes about 3 applications to get the results most of us are looking for. But Scratch-X really needs to be worked in with lots of passion. Back to the question; it can be used on the entire car, a panel, or a little area. What ever you want to use it on.

I like to use scratch-x by hand in spots. Its good for mild scratches I get from offroading.Current Jeep: 2004 Jeep Liberty with stuff
