I have a US gallon of #135 as well as a bottle of Speed Detailer. For what I use a QD for, which is to remove dust before dropping another coat of wax on for example, I prefer to use the Speed Detailer product. I have tried using the #135 on top of my wax finishes, but I do not think it adds anything to the finish for how I use it. I would prefer to wash and then use a spray wax, but that's my preference.

I do not use a QD to assist with the drying of a car, but I do use a QD to lubricate clay - be aware that UQD/#135 is not recommended by Meguiars for use at a clay lubricant!!!

I am unlikely to restock the #135 for my supplies once it is used up, but I would most certainly encourage you to try a bottle and see how you get on with it. For the finish it gives for just removing dust, it does the job better than Speed Detailer or Quik Detailer in my opinion - it's just that I tend to have to remove dirt and grime, rather than dust which means a wash. If I lived somewhere where I could remove a little dust every day, it would certainly be at the front of my shelves.

Use #34 Final Inspection until the paint manufacturer's recommended curing period has passed.

Plug for UQD!
Last night I went to pull in the garage and found the wifes and kids car were already in there so I had to park under our tree in the drive...It rained. Washing some of the stuff from the tree on my Beloved BMW. So like always I pulled out the leaf blower blew the car off quick, then grabbed the UQD and hit the car...within 10 minutes I was done with the car. I stepped back ...it didn't have the same luster it usually has...I thought HUH? Looked at the bottle to realize I accidentally grabbed the Window cleaner...darn. So I grabbed the UQD not sure if it would work because I just wiped down the entire car...Within 10 minutes the car was restored to its original shiny condition! I was amazed at how fast the shine returned...My Bimmer was Beaming! We went to a party only to have a lot of people around my car saying how Clean I keep it, and how much shiner it was that all the other cars there! My car is a 99 and the oldest car in the group was a 2004! I didn't say a word But, I knew why!!!

UQD with NXT2.0 RULES As long as I have driven a car I haven't found a better easier to apply wax combo.

Can the UQD serve double duty as a glass cleaner in a jam? I understand it's not meant to be used as such, but others have posted that the Quik-Detailer can serve as that in a pinch. Wondering if UQD can do as well.

It can, but it leaves behind a coating, so it could streak.

ahh, thats probably what I'm doing wrong, I always try to use 1 cloth, and flip it but it must all be moist so it never wipes up.

I'll try it with 2 different, one for rubbing it, other for finishing touch, Thanks for the tip!

Also, make sure to do only one or two body panels at a time. I've started using it after my weekly washes and for special occasions. Very satisfied.

Hey,

When using UQD, I make very light misting coats, wipe it in and then using a separate MF towel, wipe it off. I have never had a single problem yet and I have gone through a case of it...

The key is to not spray it on heavy; just a light misting coat.

Give that a try and then let us know!

I can't seem to figure out how to use it, when ever I spray it on to apply it, it drys so fast It just smears when I try to rub it with the microfiber cloth.

What am I doing wrong?

I use one or two pumps at a time in small areas, and the surface temperature is never to hot or cold to touch..

Got the UQD in a goodie bad last year...couldn't believe how it worked. Been using it ever since, got a bottle in the trunk, a bottle at work, and 2 spares in the garage! Great Stuff!!!

I would go with the uqd. It is a great product. Get the gallon of 135 and you will be set for a while. Post back with your impressions of it. Enjoy.
