    Re: please help

We have something in the UK called Meguiars 'Mild Overspray Clay' but it in the professional line and strong clays can induce marring and light marks that maybe unable to corrected by the average car owner. But if its plastic start of with the regular quik clay system if you have it as a least aggressive option. It wont be a quick job from all the posts i have read of this problem.

Ps. I have never had this problem so i would just wait till someone else can confirm that it is a good start.

Best thing to do is to try to get it off as soon as possible, besides that you might try some mineral spirits which you should be able to purchase at any hardware store and even some auto parts stores. Test whatever you try in an inconspicuous area first to make sure it doesn't harm the material the component you're cleaning is made out of.

Another product to try is Goo-Gone, or Goof-Off, apply using a piece of terry cloth and let the nap of the cloth act like a mild form of gentle abrasive which will give you some scrubbing action.

          Best of luck to you...

Goo Gone works on alot of stuff, I use the citrus based one.

Have found it works on alot of stuff and you do not need alot of product either.

Good luck and let us know how it went
