  • Zorbeez, good or just another MF cloth?

My wife wants this for valentine's day (though I am not off the hook on that for this only )...I am thinking it's just a microfiber towel and nothing more.

Anyone try them out and compare to a water magnet, the absorber, etc?

Interesting....unusual to find any marketed product that EVERYBODY hates.

The odd thing is the local news praised these things. I am getting her an Absorber or something and let her try that.

Get a water magnet or the CA drying towel from ADS.

Oh, those things! A friend of mine bought a set at a local car show but when we tried to dry her car with it.....well, not much actual drying took place. Supposedly you shouldn't run through the dryer or they lose their ability to absorb - something they apparently don't have much ability to do in the first place, so compromising that would be really bad!

She gave them to me and I decided to see what happens when you do run 'em through a dryer cycle. Well, you end up with fairly decent, and reasonably soft shop rags. They seem to be fairly sturdy and good enough for cleaning the engine bay, undercarriage, etc. but they certainly won't be used for drying any of my cars!

Amazing reviews. All bad. Living in the Tampa Bay area, Billy Mays starting selling his products on the home shopping channel. If he can make a dollar off of you he will try for two. Amazing now he's selling this.
