I've got a challenging problem on a windshield. It has the worst water spoting i've ever encountered. Triple O steel wool won't even penatrate the deposits. Any ideas?

Re: Water Spots On Glass
take that steel wool, lock it up and throw away the key, now! if you use that youre going to end up with many little scratches which will be harder to get rid of than your water spots.
as for the spots, ive had great sucess with clay (with plenty of 'passion')and QD, just clean the windows with a good glass cleaner before and after claying, to prevent streaking. there are also glass polishes on the market but i havent used them myself.

Re: Water Spots On Glass
The way it works for me. DPK Kerosene mixed with Arexons abrasive paste applied no rubbing left to dry out of direct sun light.
This mixture forms a strong glue it sticks to contaminants. After one hour i rinse with strong detergent. It's all washed away.I don't know if this has side effects ? but it works. If one wants to try i will be at his own risks.
