  • Mixing carnauba and synthetics

    Hello All,

Just wondering if one could use a product like Deep crystal 2 pure polish containing carnauba and then use a synthetic sealant such as #21 or other synthetic wax .When not forgetting Meguiar's recommendations where are the limits if any ?

    Thanks

I am not sure DC#2 has any carnuba in it, but even if it did, you would be fine. Any of Meguiars polishes can be used with any of Meguiars waxes.

          hey g force
are you thinking about deep crystal carnauba wax step 3,not step 2 which is the polish?
Don't know if this helps or maybe could help butThis is from some of my notes: to really amplify shine apply carnauba wax over sealant, then #7 pure polish, next some nxt generation tech spray wax. The sealant creates glossy hard coating while the carnauba wax enhances the depth & dimension of the paint

Hello Mike i always thought DC 2 has a little carnauba as it is a little sticky.
I would like your opinion as well about mixing carnauba and synthetics is it recomended for durability as well ?

            Thanks
