Washing after detail...got some questions.

Well I just finished up my car a couple days ago, removed swirls/polish, sealant. I only got to put one nice layer of sealant before my dang power went out.

Should/can I add another layer of sealant (m21) or nxt?

And when it comes time to wash, would I even need to touch it up with QD?

You can certainly add a second layer. Just make sure the surface is completly clean, either washed or QD'd.

After a wash, a lot of people will use either a spray wax product or the new Ultimate Qucik Detailer.

Slap a layer of QD on it....will just look like melted glass

Yes, you can add a second layer of M21 or NXT. In fact, Meguiar's recommends two coats in order to provide uniform coverage, and therefore uniform protection.

Then after each wash, many of us use Ultimate Quik Detailer to keep the freshly waxed finish looking its best!
