is it a good idea, or just wait it out till the spring time to wax. but if you do it in cool weather it takes a longer time for it to dry. so should i just leave it on longer?

Re: waxing in cool weather?
Waxing in cool weather is fine. Now if it is cold, you might get some streaking, but no damage done.
As you say, it just takes longer to dry, but as long as you have the time, its fine.2017 Subaru WRX Premium - WR Blue

Applying and removing waxes work 'best' at 50*F and above. However that does not mean that you can wax below those temp as I have waxed way colder than that without a problem. But they can become tricky to work with.
Yes...it will take longer for the waxes to dry before removing the residue. Therefore, use the Swipe Test to make sure the product is ready for removal.
Take care

Re: waxing in cool weather?
I had an issue with applying UQD recently, where it actually hazed on my vehicle. In working with Meguiar's support staff, they informed me that cold temps aren't so much an issue, but high humidity is. So, you may wish to ensure humidity levels below 50%.2006 Chopped and Dropped Dodge Grand Caravan SXT
