  • which bulk spray detailer should I get?

I am looking for a "bulk" spray detailer, and realized that I have alot of choices. I want to avoid "trial and error", so could you please help me sort out which is best for me.
    Heres the candidates
    Synthetic Spray Detailer--M13501 1 gal. ----$30.48
    Final Inspection --M3401 1 gal. ----$25.46
    X-Press Liquid Wax --D15001 1 gal. ----$25.21
Last Touch Spray Detailer --D15501 1 gal. ----$18.38

Here is what i want to do with it
    occasional use in claying
cleaning a lightly used weekend car
    use on my motorcycle's paint

    thanks for your help,
    nick

    Hey,

Based on your criteria for use, I would suggest Last Touch as it can be used undiluted for your paint and can be diluted 2:1 for use with claying.

You can also use #34 Final Inspection, which I use the most for claying, but you will get better gloss from the Last Touch. And since one of your criteria was to use on slightly dusty paint, Last Touch appears to suit your needs the best.

Are you looking to add protection and gloss with it, or just clean? If you want to add protection and gloss, get Synthetic Spray Detailer. I'm not sure if it would work so well for claying, though. Otherwise, Last Touch would probably work very well, especially since you use it diluted 1:1 for claying (I use it diluted 1:1 for everything actually). Besides, it smells awesome. Lol. X-Press Liquid Wax is a wax and therefore not in the quick detailer category.

Whoops, Tim you beat me to it again!!

Last touch is fantastic stuff. For the price it's truly incredible. If you can only get one, or only want one, that's the one to get. You can't use the 135 for claying so as a "do everything" product, well, it won't "do everything". But for the ultimate in shine, protection and shedding water - nothing else even comes close.

I would also like to add that X-Press wax is NOT a detailer product, rather just a wax that happens to be quick and easy to use.

I also have to give it up to Last Touch. Nothing short of a fantastic detailer that works great for doing a quick cleanup from dust or as a clay lubricant! If you aren't worried about using it for clay though, M135 Synthetic Spray Detailer would be the best choice for what it does.

For all the needs that you listed. I would also have to give a push for Last Touch. I have used it as my go to qd for about a year. It is really good. Like others have said;If you want the versatility give Last Touch a try if you won't added protection and shine go with the 135.

When I place my large order next month , I am going with a gallon of 135. To compliment my last touch. This way imho I will have the best of both worlds.

Also a fan of Last Touch. If you haven't tired it, I'd suggest buying a small bottle of UQD (which is M135 all dressed up) as it's a great finish product and a way to see if a gallon is in your future as well.
