Is the DACP the best thing to use to get those swirl mark's removed from the paint. I tried everything to remove the swirls and scratches.

Believe the hype. I assume you have tried #9 and scratchX? If you have and recieved little or no change, you need DACP. I also assume that you have a PC. DACP applied by PC is the best way to remove medium swirls.

I did try the #9 and the Swirl Remover. I have a PC. I bought different pad's for it.

DACP applied with a PC and a cutting pad is about as "jiggy" as a person can get without a rotary. I had a similar problem with cobwebs. #9 reduced them, but not enough for me. DACP will definately lessen if not remove your swirls!

Thank you for the information. How long and how much should I use the DACP in a area?

Now I am not the expert here, but in my limited PC use I have found that you do a small area (maybe a quarter of a hood) at a time and you work the product until almost dry and there is only a slight film left (you can see reflections well) on the work area. Then you wipe with a cotton terry or MF towel. If your car is dark I would follow this with DC 2 or 81 to shine it and then NXT fill in the swirls you can't remove.

Right on the money in my book.

                Hey,

                Just to add,

Make sure to supply enough downward pressure on the PC while buffing. Use your right hand on the body and your left hand on the head of the PC and push down slightly. When the motor starts to bog, back off a little. Also move the buffer very slowly. The PC is not that aggressive, so you need to spend some time buffing with it.

As NewlyCarCrazy explained, work the DACP until only a slight residue/dust remains, then wipe off with a MF towel. Again, with the PC (set to speed 5), it may take up to 5 minutes (or less depending several factors) per 2' x 2' area for the product to break down.

Good luck and keep us posted!!
