Just aquired a convertible. Since this is my first convertible experiance, how do you take care of these? What products to use to clean and maintain? Thanks for the help.

What kind of material is your convertible top made out of?
If it's vinyl, Meguiar's can help you to clean, condition and maintain it. If it's cloth, then at this time, we don't offer any dedicated products for cloth tops.
Somewhere in the Detailing 101 forum is thread on cleaning and maintaining cloth convertible tops. (I think), perhaps someone can post a link to it in this thread?

Shows how little I know about these cars, I wasn't aware that there was more than one type of top. This is a black vinyl top. Any help would be appreciated.Mark

Vinyl I would use #39 to clean and the #40 to protect....if anyone has a cloth top Hartz makes the best I have found. It can be bought through the National Corvette MuseumComment

Would the NXT Protectant be acceptable in place of the 40? Has anyone tried this on a vinyl convertible top? I can't locate locally, 40. Thanks for the help.Mark
