Yep - a kit with 6 products for $10 on closeout. not bad for more than $50 worth of product. Bought all the kits in town!
Interesting in that the Walmart in Ankeny which is probably 15 miles from your Walmart never priced them lower than $17 last year. They had lots of them stacked up for weeks after Christmas, then they moved them all out. Probably took them to the store in your area since someone was buying them all up.
i got one from target with scratchX, glass cleaner, hot shine tire gel, a plastx sample, quick interior detailer, and good class liquid wax, and some more. oh did i mention i got it for 7.50(8 after tax). HECK YEAH! they were originally 25.
Got a Jeep question...how do you like those tires? Were due for new ones on the Liberty and our current contenders are the ones you have, the BF Goodrich All Terrains and the Mud Terrains. The Mud Terrains are slowly losing because we don't offroad but maybe once a month so we need a more street worthy tire.
Thanks,
Ryan
I would go with the A/T tires. They usually have a higher traction and treadwear rating than the M/T tires.
I have the older model of YOKO GEO A/T's on my Bronco II . I've found that as long as you keep them movin', they'll keep diggin'. No problems with them clogging up, but I don't do any extreme off-roadin'.
just my 2$ doesn't make cents
I got one before and just waxed up my ride with NXT 2.0 and it, like all Meguiar's products, went on easy, came off easy and looks greats. Plus I used the Hot Shine Gel for the first time and it seems pretty nice too, a little messy but nice. Great deal on a great kit.
What a great deal. I'm in Canada so I went for a drive today to Bellingham Washington and yippee. I think I've saved enough to take tomorrow off and wax the MINI. We pay $29.99 for the first gen NXT alone in Canada. The rest of the stuff is between $10 and $15 each. , I think I might make money next detail.
mate the prices over here mean saving anything up to $150 on those products (together). so im happy to pay for shipping! in a local store which i wont name the only one of those products under $20AUD/USD (hardly any difference lately anyway) is quik interior detailer at around $16AUD. we dont have UQD or NXT 2.0 yet, but i cant see them being cheaper than speed detailer ($24.99AUD-around $22-23USD) or the current NXT liquid (around $40AUD-$36USD approx. and a whole $50AUD for the paste version). ive bought some products from autogeek.net in the past and, including shipping (usually around $35-40AUD depending on weight (UPS), saved $24 compared to driving 5mins to my local store and picking the product up off the shelf.
customs meanwhile are usually only interested in items over $500 value, all others will usually be cleared within a day. so im leaning towards buying all my car cleaning products from the US and getting them shipped, buying in bulk (a few products at once) to save on shipping costs. unfortunately im too impatient to wait for autogeek to get NXT 2.0 so im hoping to find the walmart kit somewhere willing to ship it.

I tried the Hot Tires Gel today for the first time and I love the stuff! Its harder to apply than the liquid(my tires have crazy designs) version which is a given for a gel but it seems like it will last alot longer. The smell is great also! We found another bottle of it on sale for $3 at Advance Auto today so we got another.
