It has finally gotten cold in Texas. But with the cold comes fog on the inside of my windows. Does anyone have any tips for keeping the fog off the glass so i can see? Hopefully some people up north have some tricks.

Re: Glass fogging up
I have never tried this nor heard of it, but what about applying something like Rain-X to the insides of the windows. The only thing that I have noticed is to keep the windows clean and that seems to help although it only gets down to around 40 degrees here.

Rain X makes something for the inside of windows. I have never tried it, though, so I don't know if it works. I usually just turn the defrost on and that takes care of it quickly.Lydia's Mobile Detailing

Re: Glass fogging up
but will probably streak like crazy. ive used the rain X anti-fog stuff on the inside of the windows, but if youre after a cheap fix just use NXT glass cleaner, it has some anti-fog/haze properties and seems to make a big difference in my experience.

Re: Glass fogging up
Hey,
This is something I have to deal with several months of the year. I have tried the RainX Anti-Fog and hated it. Every time head lights from on coming cars would hit the glass, I saw star bursts! Very bothersome to me, but perhaps not others.
Perhaps go to a dive shop and see what they use on diving masks. I used to use saliva which prevented fogging in the masks, but I would hate to see someone doing that to their windshield! LOLOL

Just turn your air conditioner on with the defroster. Works like a champ for me. The AC dries the air quickly.Jim
