Layering waxes?

I saw this thread some time back and tried to find it again but was unsuccessful. I am trying to layer nxt tech wax, then carnauba wax on top of that. I've heard it gives it good protection and gives a really nice finish. I am looking for protecting and beauty. I am used to using carnauba wax, step 3 in the 3 step system. Any help or any suggestions on the way you guys do it would be appreciated.
