Just wondering if ColorX or Deep crystal Polish is safe to use on painted rims. The black is begining to fade. Any help is appreciated!

colorx is a really good one step , but i would top it with a LSP..you can use the colorx on the rimsComment

They have paint, and that is what that stuff is for. I say go for it.

I clayed my wheels (they are new though) and put a coat of NXT on them, my Yukon the wheels are about 2 yrs old and I clayed, cleaner wax then applied a coat of NXT on them, they were machined clear coated (painted essentially) and they look awesome and has survived 2 winters here in the Siskiyou Mountains much to the dismay of my tire dealer who thought I pulled them off during winter .
