  • What to use on clear factory hood shield?

    Hello:

I've searched the forums for this question and either missed it or
    could not find it:

I have a new Dodge Ram which has a clear rock shield cover on
the front portion of the hood.
Should I treat this like the painted surface which I intend to clay,
polish, and wax, or should this be UV protected with an exterior
    trim product or something else?
Would the clay be a good idea either way?

    Thanks for any help,

    Dave

Clay is ok, then just a gentle cleaner/wax or wax is fine.

im looking at using plast X on my bonnet protector and wind deflectors on the windows...theyve got swirls in the plastic and im hoping that will improve it a bit.

PlastX is also good... eps if swirls need fixed.

I might need to PlastX mine again.
