  • Wax removal on Exterior Trim?

Bear with me, as this will be my first post.

I'm trying to remove some wax which has worked its way into some exterior trim. I don't know how the explain the texture of this stuff. It's not smooth, but rather, kind of rough. I'm also not sure if this trim is completely destroyed, or just damaged for now. Here's a pic to explain the situation (with the effected area circled).

Other than the trim, the car now looks much better than it does in this picture.

Try APC with a stiff brush , this has worked for me many times .

APC would be All Purpose Cleaner, right?

Try parking your car in a position where the sun will shine on the affected trim. The natural heating will make it easier to remove the wax and also easier to see.

You may also try putting dressing on it. If it is rough, it may be white from drying out.
