  • Help. Pc polishing

    ok so i got this cheap 6 in. buffer/Polisher. Now i know i should have gotten it but it was 15 bucks and EVEN came with 3 pads. well i just want to know how to use one of these things. like which direction i should move it so i dont burn the paint thanks.

    ps.It moves counter clock wise

    I assume its a random orbit polisher, if so you won't burn through the paint for a LOOOOONG time. What do you intend to do with this? Remove defects? Just polish and wax? We need to know so we can advise you on what you need to do now.

            I'm assuming your buffer is something like this or larger?
            When I first started out detailing cars, I used a $15 waxer/polisher, it's uses are limited to applying waxes and removing excess residue.
            You have nothing to worry about till you get involved with high speed rotaries...

            You can go any direction side to side, up or down, it don't matter whatever works for you..
