Hey Kelly,

No DC#2 is not #7. The two are similar in being pure polishes. However, #7 contains the greatest amounts of Meguiar's trade secret oils of all Meguiar's pure polishes.

I've tried #3 and #7. I feel that #3 is pretty nice, but it just doesn't have that pop that #7 has. That's just my opinion...

Hey Kelly,

As you know, I have used gallons of both for many many years. Meg's #3 was designed to be applied by machine though it does also work well by hand. You will get similar results from either with #3 being a little easier to use, but #7 providing more oils.

I'm probably way off base here. I thought I read in a different thread that in higher humidity locations, #3 is a better choice then #7. Or did I get this confused with a different product?

Nope...you are thinking of #5 which is designed for humid areas.

I love #7. Ive never used anything that made the paint feel as good or have more depth than my Jeep has after a good coat of #7. Kinda makes me want to take a bite outta the Jeep..
