More then likely. While All Wheel Cleaner is likely very safe for rims, it still will cut through the razor thin coat of #21. The plus side, is that with a quality sealant on your rims, they should rinse pretty much clean.
Let's make all of the cars shiny!

I've got #21 on my wheels and after two weeks there was very little brake dust on them. I just used the NXT Wash and believe I'll only use the wheel cleaner prior to re-waxing. I've 2-coated the car but only 1 coat on the wheels.

x2.. I keep a coat of NXT on my rims and I never have a problem just using Gold class soap and the MEGs brush to get them clean.

Like the others have mentioned, if you keep your wheels clean and waxed, there is no need for a dedicated wheel cleaner. If you have a car that gets tons of brake dust on the wheels in a short time, a little bit of diluted APC helps. I reserve the wheel cleaner for neglected wheels and the back side when I do tire rotations.

You wouldn't use wheel cleaner on your paint, why would you use it on your wheels when you don't have to?

Well said. It goes right along with the whole philosophy of using the least aggressive tool to get the job done. If your painted wheels are well waxed and not overly dirty they clean up nicely with the same tools you use to clean the rest of the car.

            Just do the wheels last!!!!

I also try to keep my wheels waxed. To help on clean up. I also have a dedicated microfiber that i use in conjunction with my qd ing. This way I give them a little boost of cleaning in between washing.

That is what i have done for the past year. i'm pleased with the results. I also tend not to go longer then two days without qding or washing the car.
