  • Where does the W1000 Buffing Pad Fit In?

My understanding of the aggressiveness of the Megs pads is:

    4000 Cut & Shine
    7000 Cutting
    8000 Polishing
    9000 Finishing

Where does the 1000 Buffing pad fit in? It is called for by #45 Marine Polish.

    Thanks,

    George

The W-1000 and the W-5500 are both polishing pads, so you can use them wherever you would use a W-8000 or W-8006 foam polishing pad.

THey are different foam formulas so they will buff differently but you will get similar results. These foam pads were historically used with the traditional Mirror Glaze line, i.e. M01, M02, M03, M04, M09 etc.
