Washing in rain....:(

So tomorrow a detailer will meet up with me to give me a machine polish.
I do need to get the car clayed and 100% clean before he arrives, and i have no place to do it indoors. It is raining cats and dogs today...

So I was thinking; I have a bottle of GC spray detailer. If i get rain on the car after washing it; can i work over it with the GC afterwards and go straight to machine polishing? Or should I just wait unntil it stops raining (if it ever does..?)

I am hoping the weather calms down, but by my luck it just might not...

I wash in the rain often, but I just leave it at that. I havent ever clayed in the rain, or anything.

But I dont think it would be good to wash in the rain, let it all dry, then just go right to claying.

hehe.. why? You may be more of an enthousiast than me..

i hope the rain stays away if not more just so that I can rinse and dry before I pull her inside... Cant wait to see how she turns out! I will be posting lots of pics.

Or just more insane...

Well, water spots come from either hard water from your hose or dust on the finish that clumps together as the water dries.

So washing in the rain removes the dust, and the rain removes the tap water. 5 minutes for a quick washing, and almost no spotting when the rain ends.

It is now half past eight in the morning, i start at 1.
Weather forecast say heavy clouds but no rain, unntil about 1 o clock.
That is just perfect. Just have to see how it goes..

She WILL get detailed, no matter what!! Will bring lots of MF!
