  • How to clean my paint?

My paint on my integra is very dull and gets water stains consistently. I waxed it with Meg's products before(by hand) and got good results but still unhappy with the paint. I am considering buying a G100 to help the situation. What would you guys recommend? What products?

Did you do any prep before waxing, like claying, cleaning, polishing, or a cleaner/wax?

Ok, and the bumper still wasnt quite up to your hopes? You used the Deep Crystal #1 Cleaner?

I clayied, Deep crystal paint cleaner & polish, gold glass wax( 2 coats). There was pretty good results, but i think if i used the g100 it would look much better.

Well, a G100 will certainly improve things more than working by hand, but you should be able to get good results by hand. If you are able to buy the machine though, go for it. Your arms will thank you later....

Great! Thanks for the help. I was leaning towards that option. I am looking to purchase a "package deal" from Autodetailingsolutions.com Which would recommend or what pads/products? I was thinking about buying.......

Re: How to clean my paint?

Well, here are the basic links...

Recommended Products - G100a Dual Action Polisher

Using the G-100 to remove swirls with the Professional Line

                The basic layout would be:

                - #83 and 8006 pad
                - #80 and 8006 pad
                - 9006 pad and the wax of your choice.

You'd probably want a few spare pads as well. #82 is a very mild cleaner/polish, something that may be ok in the future when the paint is good, but it isnt what you want to fix the paint up.

I don't know if there is that much hope, but try MPPC!

Listen to murr, its good advice. Another thought is just because you clayed once, you can always reclay till you get the finish you desire.

                      Hey nrican

I have a white nissan spec v with the same problem. you can thank your trunk seals and all the other seals for the mess . I just did mine with #1 paint cleaner then #2 polish and 2 coats of goldclass. My car looks brand new again.
i did all this with a 9in orbital buffer.
