hey guys just did my charger with the 5 step and it came out really nice, only problem I have now is my wind shield had over spray on it. I cleaned it with spray away, but now i got a bunch of tiny scratches in it, from 80 i'm guessing. If I run it threw the car wash will that help or does my wind shield have to crack, and be replaced?

hmmm well I guess I could take some pics just need ta get a camera now sure how well they would come out. I haven't washed it persay just used the spray away aresol, they are not tinted, I'm bored I'll go clay and see how it goes. I'm going to run it threw the car wash anyways, but I just was wondering if this was normal or did I really screw up.

hmmmmmmmmm Yea who knows what it is, I know it wasn't there when I started to work on the car. It's hard to notice unless u look really close, I didn't notice it on the way to work, just on the way home. I tried to clay it just now with out much luck. Ah well Just have to run it threw the wash tomorrow and see what happens. Thanx for everyone's help

Re: Noob
I’m sure the #80 over spray didn’t cause any scratching when removing or otherwise.
If you already clayed then I think it’s safe to say it isn’t fibers or some other debris.
The little scratches were probably already there and after all your hard work you were just looking a lot harder.
And no pressure washer is going to help.
If they are very tiny and hard to see and are bothersome you could try to use a glass polishing kit.
They can be useful on very light scratches.
Could they be on the inside??

Re: Noob
well I didn't get a chance to clay, with the rain here in boston today, but I noticed a film on the outside of the wind shield. I think it's clear coat over spray from the body shop I was at a while back. It's a gunky film, so I'm pretty sure the Meguiar's 80 had nothing ta do with the scratches I had it's just the film on the glass. AH well thanx again for everyone's help
