I have a question on a product. Natural Shine Vinyl and Rubber Protectant. When applied do you wipe it off after you apply it? I am new to detailing so I am learning as I go.

You dont have to, but wiping off excess after 5 minuters or so will cut the shine even more, and make sure no greasy spots remain. And if it was an exterior surface, getting off the excess can also prevent runs from rain, etc.

So I can leave the stuff on the dash. By wiping it off will that hurt the protection. Just making sure because I want to get all the directions down before I start my business.

I have no idea how one would even measure the protection left either way.... It certainly leaves something behind even if the excess is wiped off, since the color stay deeper and richer.

As far as a business goes, most people probably wont want a greasy look or feel, so wiping it down is probably best.
