First of all - to 2HotFord - thanks for the link about posting pics........

Before I get to my question to you, let me finish a thought from my last posting. At the end of the first paragraph, I started to thank the person who was "sticking up" for me and my work. I appreciate your concern, but I am also certain that Trufflepig meant no disrespect to me or my work..........but thanks for your kind words.

Now, back to 2HotFord..........I am still confused - you see, I never see the greenish page that has the IMG tag on it. My old eyes must just be missing it. Could you help me to see it? (Like........where the heck is it?)

I will keep working on the uploading of pics until I get it right.........thanks for the help.

BTW, 2HotFord, I am a Middle school Band Director, with 114 kids in my program (in grades 5 thru 8.) Been doing that for about 24 years.
Great kids........love every minute of it.

What browser are you using? Firefox has an issue with the gallery. IE does not.

Hi, Kellyinkc............I am using Microsoft Internet Explorer v 6.

Actually, I think I am just making a mistake somewhere along the way. I think, like Mike P says in the tutorial, if I upload more photos, I will get the hang of it. So, maybe if I take some shots of my wife's car (before and after), I will have a chance to try the whole process again.

Hey, I made an Avatar without messing up..........I'll figure this out too!!
      Thanks!

      All best,
      'Bird

        Hey 'Bird,

The greenish box that said Image is just a highlighted box that Mike used to show what the button the arrow was pointing to; that would be the IMG button.

Once you load the photos into the MOL gallery (remember 700 pixels wide max), you will need to right click on the photo. When the screen comes up, you need to select 'Properties'. Highlight and copy the url of the photo.

Now in your post, paste the url. Now highlight the url. Go to the tab that says IMG and click that. It will place img and /img with square parentheis around each with your photo's url in between.

That's all there is to it! I know it sounds a little confusing, but it easy once you see how it is done. Go to your original post where Mike placed the photos into your original post. Click "quote" and should be able to see the url in the proper format.

        I hope this helps!

As for teaching, I teach mostly grade 12's in Law and History. This is my 15th year and still loving it!!!

Hi Blackbird, It took me a while to figure out how to do it myself! LOL
Best thing as you say is to play around with it.

            Hey thanks, 2hotford and Kellyinkc!!

I should be posting my latest pics soon - maybe tomorrow - my wife's 2000 Honda Accord - I worked it over with some # 80, and topped it with #26. Looks pretty good - again, not perfect, but a definite improvement.

I will "play" until I get this pic thing right!!

Thanks again for all the help - you are all so kind........

            All best,
