Hey everyone! I've checked out this board a few times and just joined up! This is a great board with a lot of very knowledgeable people. So here's my story since we're talking about red paint. I've got a red 04 F150 and I'm jumping in and going to try some machine polishing. I have some Lakes polishing and finishing pads coming in the mail for my DA. Right now I've got some #26, #9, and #7. I know I need to get some more like #80, #83, etc. My question is are there any products that are especially good for red? My paints in good shape, just some minor swirling, nothing major and nothing that appears deep, just surface stuff. Also, I've read about hard and soft paint on here, does anyone know how hard or soft Ford F150 paint is? Thanks guys!
lol too bad.... now someone else gets to have an awesome deal....hahaha
Well maybe not as this Red Truck (and) another is about to have a Birthday sitting on the dealers lot. Me thinks because their both Red, the only two leftovers!
Now a Red Lamborghini or Ferrari or I'll even toss in a Dodge Viper, I'll look at them allllll day long. Heck I'll even sleep in the Garage!
I love my red truck...when its detailed properly on a real sunny day it looks like it could glow in the dark. Ive never owned black but I am well aware of how it shows imperfections and I dont think red is anywhere near as bad. Good luck!
