You might not know me as well as others here but i am very very paranoid about my clear coat, i wont even use scratch X, the strongest stuff that touches my paint is DC#1 Im not trying to put you down, im sure you get amazing results, i know most pros do it that way. but not me, i f i can help it i do not want to remove more than 1 micron of clear coat when i preform paint correction(i wish i had a paint depth gauge). thanks for your input!

And that's fine but for me if I can pick the scratch w/my fingernail I wet sand it out and buff. Again one must know what their doing and obviously this can not be done if the scratch is into the base coat.
A simple scuff and be easily removed by hand with a product for that purpose.

          Just an FYI:

This is a scratch/scuff I found on my neighbor's Chrysler 300 when I went to detail it a year and a half ago. It was maybe 3' long on the driver's side front fender - the car was 4 months old and needless to say they weren't too pleased about it. I couldn't feel it with my fingernail so I figured it would polish out pretty well.

This is how it came out after a quick hit with M80 on a polishing pad.

There were also a ton of fine scratches under the door handles - I had a little talk with my neighbor about watching her long fingernails while opening the doors as I knew that's how all those scratches occurred. She like to go out with all her friends and they all have long, manicured nails, so ALL the doors had these marks by the handles. I don't have any pictures of those, but they came out, every single little mark, with an application of ScratchX by hand.

If your scratch is so minimal as to hide in low light I'm willing to bet ScratchX will do wonders for it. And it really is incredibly mild and gentle - you should see how hard Mike Phillips has to work it against a swirled body panel (3 times!!!) to take down swirls. You'll be fine.
