trigger spray or aerosal? I find the trigger spray doesn't dry like the aerosal does. for that reason I stick with the aerosal.

I always let it sit for a while and then come back with a towel and wipe the tires. This makes sure that I didn't apply too much.

I apply the trigger spray and wipe with a foam applicator. If the tire has the ring of small ribs in the side I brush the excess out with a small brush. The stuff then dries and sling is eliminated. That said the aerosol product dries better and doesn't sling.

            tire sling

            Hey mtp78,

I prefer a wet looking tire also, so what I do if I don't have time to let the dressing dry is wipe them down with an old towel that I just use for tires. Make sure you don't have any dressing sitting in the grooves: like some goodyears have serrated letters.

After I let this sit for awhile, I still wiped it down.

            Hope this helps!

I use the trigger and the aerosal. They both work great. The only thing is with both of them if you don't want the dripping or slinging you'll have to use the tire sponge to spread it out.

I use a sponge applicator to wipe down the tire after spraying on Hot Shine with the trigger bottle.
