  • Advive ?

    Greetings From Australia.

This will be my first post so be kind, I need help with some product advice and thought this to be a great forum to get some help.

I own a 2003 Honda Accord Euro in premium white pearl (Acura TSX) to all you users in the US, it’s a daily driver so there are moderate to medium swirls cobwebbing and some small scratches.

My car will be of the road for four weeks, Due to loss of licence (excess speed) so on the good side of things I see this as an opourtune time to do some serious detailing and paint rejuvination.

I need some advice I want to do a premium show car detail on my ride what products/ techniques could you suggest. I am willing to purchase any polishes compounds etc etc to achieve a stunning reasult.

In my detailing chest I have

    • Bosch (random orbital buffer) + Light cut, polishing and finishing pads
    • Clay, lube
    • NXT wax, #2 fine cut cleaner, #7 show car glaze, #9 swirl remover, #00 wash

Any advive would be greatly appreaciated
I look forward to hearing your replys

    Cheers

    Hello

Good to see other Australians on this forum. I have also just gotton into paint correction for the first time and products I think will suit you well is Meguiars #80 and #83.

In Australia it's hard to find some products so if you want a good usa online store which is safe and ships to Australia just send me msg, will also give you links to some other stores which will help you find products easy.

      Thanks for the reply

will the #80 and #83 be used in conjuction with each other i.e. apply one then the other or just use the one product to suit the application ?

if you could give me the name of that website that would be fantastic, thanks mate, the Meguiars OTC stuff over here isn't that flash

Usally start with #80 and if it still ain't work then step up to #83 and once your done with #83 just go over #80 again and then your choice of wax or sealant.

Just sent you email with links to good websites.

after the #80 and #83 can you apply a sealer and glaze then a syn wax and some carnuba over the top ? or is the coat of sealer and glaze a waste of time and effort ?
