Will #83 on glass work? Will it cut through heavy tree sap and bugs that even the most dedicated elbow greese and NXT glass cleaner wont get off? I know they say to use chrome cleaner, but i dont have any handy.

It's quite possible #83 will work. I know several members around here used it to remove water etching, so it might work for bugs and tree sap. It's worth a try at least (as Murr said, it's not going to damage anything).Lydia's Mobile Detailing

I have used it before and, like Lydia said, it works for removing the water etching...have you tried clay for the bugs and sap yet???Attack life, it's going to kill you anyway.

My choice for what you want to do on glass would be #0000 or #000 steelwool.
I do buff glass to remove hard water spots. I use #49 for that which is very simular to #4.Comment
