  • Need help with Marine products

I have two boats that I am about to work on. One is my Triton bass boat the other is a friends ski boat. They both have swirls just like I had on my vehicles.

My thinking is #67 followed by some Flagship wax. Or do I need another step in the process like #44 I'll be using my G100.

My hope is the #67 works sort of like #80 or #83. I really like working with those two.

    Thanks,
    Ticman

    Hi Ticman,

M67- One Step Compound does work similar to M80 by removing swirls & oxidation, but it will be much more aggressive to deal with the gel coated surfaces. No more compounding steps are needed unless it is really bad shape, and you need to use a rotary ? After that, you have 2 options...You could use M45 - Polish for additonal gloss, which some people do on colored gels, or jump directly to M63 - Flagship Premium Wax for maximum protection.

It really depends on how much time you are willing to spend, and the you have colored gel or just plain white.
