Re: Is #16 really worth the price now?
$25 is a reasonable investment to evaluate a product with such significant potential impact on your car's appearance. I saw M16 on eshine.ca the other day for $17.99 a can. I'm not sure what the total cost with shipping would be, but it's probably close to what your quoting. I think the product is well worth the money, and dread the day when it can no longer be found anywhere at any price.

#16 is an amazing wax even at $25 a can. Does it blow away #26? No, but #26 is underpricedThe cool thing about #16 is its an old school formula that still looks great, especially on metallics and lighter colors. I like #26 on darks.

$25 is not bad when you consider that you get about 70 applications out of one tin. That works out to about $0.35 per application.Jim

Yea Black Diamond. I was like you. I had heard all the rave reviews. Heck, this wax has been out for over 50 years so I am thinking, "How can such an old formula possibly compare to today's new synthetic polymer and moleculized ionic double poly carbonate sealants".
I took the plunge and bought 4 tins off eShine. I haven't looked back. Water beads flawlessly and the wax glides on and off. Just don't let it sit more than 5 minutes on a panel otherwise it turns to concrete. I have a big Tahoe and I only have to dip inside the tin 4 times. One tin will last me 10 years. I went overboard....Ah well.... Yea it is definitley worth the $$$.
As a side note, I would love to know their secret formula. The wax appears to have a heavy blend of petroleum. I think that's what makes it slide so easily onto a car.

Put M16 on a bit heavy and let it dry completely and, yes, you will hate yourself for having done so. It can be a real pain but, as with everything else in detailing, technique is everything!!Michael Stoops

Tried it last weekend. It was also the first time I ever used a paste wax. I was amazed how little it took to do a whole car.
The looks of the car didn't change much since I put #16 over NXT. I just want to compare durability. One of the most recent sealants vs the oldest wax.
