Washing the car or using a quick detailer and a microfiber cloth.

If you are using a Quik Detailer, it is a good idea to spray a bit more than usual. This will allow the poop to soften pretty nicely...that will minimize your chance of scratching.

Make sure and turn your towel after the initial swipe, then maybe even spray again, the goal is to make sure and have enough lubrication !!!

As we all know Mike there is nothing worse than poop that isn't lubricated enough.......

I had to say it. Sorry.

One of the first thing i do every day or sometime throughout the day is to go around the car and check for bird pooh. I think the earliest you find them is the better. If i find some, i will just use any foamy product such as glass cleaners or those cheap foam interior cleaners and spray on them wait for a couple of seconds to soften the pooh and then use any cotton towel to cover them and left the pooh, i will try to avoid wiping to prevent any scratches. I will let the towel to **** them up.

With acouple of the other replies, lots of lubricant and if it did stain or etch try some scratchx with some passion and you will be in business.
