Pin Stripes, how to PC Clean without damage

I have an 1997 Maxima that has a two-line vinyl pin stripe down each side, front to back.

How can I use the PC with the yellow cutting pad and DACP without damaging the pin stripe?

Will it not affect it?

want to be sure?

what i do,when i want to be 100% sure,i tape it of,with 3m paper tape,the one that is also used by prof.paint shops.
i never take a risk,certainly not if it's not my own car i'm working on.
but,this is the way that works for me,hope to have helped you

I used DACP on my PC with a polishing pad and both the vinyl pinstripe and the Z71 sticker on my chevy were fine.
