Removing Liquid Shoe Polish

Hello:

My six year old decided to use KIWI Black Edge Dressing (liquid shoe polish) to paint in a few scratches on my classic car. The car is painted with a base coat black with a clear coat on top. The touch up attempt with the KIWI Black Edge Dressing was less than desirable. Can you recommend something to remove the KIWI Black Edge Dressing from my car?

That might be a case to wash with Dawn in that specific area.
